Professor Tariq Alkhalifah and Xuxin Ma are participating in the 15th International Workshop on Seismic Anisotropy held from April 14th to 19th in Bahrain. The workshop is organized by the Dhahran Geoscience Society (GDS).

11 abstracts from SWAG group have been accepted at the 74th EAGE Conference & Exhibition to be held in Copenhagen from 4th to 7th of June 2012.

Dr. Anton Duchkov shall be presenting his work on Isochron rays (rays for PERM) and wave packets. His presentation will be on the 18th of February at 4:00PM. It will be in room 3119, level 3, building 1.

Professor Alexey Stovas from NTNU and Dr. Anton Duchkov from Trofimuk Institute of Petroluem Geology and Geophysics will be visiting SWAG at KAUST on the 17^th of February 2012. They will be here for 5 days and collaborate in research with the SWAG group members.

Pavel Golikov, final year PhD student is visiting SWAG at KAUST, to engage in collaborative research with the our group. He will be here for two months.
